President Ramaphosa mourns passing of former United Nation Secretary-General Kofi Annan

On behalf of the Government and the People of South Africa, President Cyril Ramaphosa has expressed his sincere condolences at the untimely passing of Mr Kofi Atta Annan, the first African UN Secretary-General from Sub Sahara.

Speaking shortly before his departure from Windhoek where he attended the 38th Ordinary Summit of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), President Ramaphosa said Mr Annan’s death was a great shock and loss to the global community.

Minister Zulu dismisses Ekurhuleni Black Suppliers roadshow as fake

Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, has distanced herself and her department from a fake event branded as Ekurhuleni Black Suppliers Road Show.

Minister Zulu urged organisers to refrain from misleading members of the public, in particular, entrepreneurs who are desperate for information and opportunities. She condemned the fraudulent use of her name, her department and other government leaders by faceless con artists whose only objective is to defraud innocent citizens.
